From beginner to paid work: a Video Bootcamp success story

What made you apply for the Video Bootcamp?
I was looking to enter the video production industry but didn't feel I had the proper skills, or know how to start getting clients and paid work. The bootcamp seemed like the perfect route to follow.
Which lessons did you most enjoy on the course?
I most enjoyed the lessons where we filmed our own mini-documentaries — we got to be creative and apply everything we'd learned to a project that was new to me.
What would you say to someone interested in the course?
If you have a passion for video production and want to turn it into a career, the Video Skills Bootcamp is the best decision you could make. It really bridges the gap to getting paid work.
How has the course helped you prepare for work?
We learned how to put together a brief and pitch, how to work with clients, and got help improving our CVs. I also developed more professional workflows that make me feel much more confident applying for paid work. Since finishing, I've had two paid videography jobs and I'm doing regular video editing for IMG, while also working on projects with Inbloom Video — who I was introduced to on the course.
