Case Study |

Adam Mates

Adam tells us all about his experience as a Digital Marketing

apprentice with Quality Care Insurance Services Ltd

and his training with Creative Process Digital.

What was involved in applying for an apprenticeship?

After sending my application off I was contacted by Creative Process who explained what the next steps were.
I was invited to an interview at my company, Quality Care Insurance Services Ltd, and was supported by Creative Process once again with advice and tips for the interview.

What did you hope to gain from doing an apprenticeship?

I hope to gain the skills and experience necessary to kick start a career in digital marketing.
It will be great to gain a qualification at the end of the course which will hopefully open a lot of doors for me in the future.

What have you learnt so far from working on the job?

As I am the only person doing the marketing side within the company, I have been able to put my skills to the test in all areas of digital marketing such as SEO, website content management, social media marketing, email marketing and much more.

What do you think of the tutors and staff at Creative Process?

Everyone at Creative Process has been excellent since the day I signed up. As soon as I applied for the role I had regular contact with the staff who offered advice on my application and helped me through the interview process. The tutors at Creative Process are very supportive and genuinely want the best for you.

If you had to sum up you apprenticeship experience in one sentence, what would it be?

An interesting, rewarding experience that has exceeded all expectations I previously had.
It has everything: experience, qualifications, education and a wage.

What would you say to someone interested in becoming an apprentice?

If you want to kick start a career while learning in a practical way, then an apprenticeship is the ideal solution. You will be supported throughout your time and will gain skills and experience that will be invaluable for your future. You learn so much in such a short period of time which can set you up perfectly for the future.
