Investing in Digital Skills and

Innovation Across Greater Brighton and Sussex

Creative Process developed, piloted and launched the digital apprenticeship with Government at Apple’s UK HQ in London and at i-crossing, part of the global Hearst Corporation, in Brighton. Thousands of young people a year now access digital apprenticeships. They are employed by a diverse range companies and organisations who understand the business critical importance of putting digital savvy young people at the heart of their talent and CPD strategy.

The Brighton and Sussex digital apprenticeship launch was hosted by leading digital company i-crossing and their CEO along with Caroline Lucas, MP and the Deputy Leader of the Council, Phelim MacCafferty and saw a superb turn out of employers. Since then Creative Process has continued to source new talent for a vast range of organisations all keen to invest in their digital evolution and transformation.

Brighton’s creative, digital and tech economy is growing at a phenomenal rate however there is a real digital skills shortage that limits the growth and prosperity of companies. Creative Process meets this skills shortage by training talented local young people who want to be a part of our high growth, high skilled economy. The companies that Creative Process works with recognise the importance of capturing this talent as well as reflecting these changing markets and skillsets within their own workforce. As Brighton becomes an ever stronger centre of innovation and growth Creative Process is proud to be empowering the next generation of digital talent in partnership with employers.

The skills gap refers to the growing disconnect between educational institutions and the relevant skills needed for the workforce. Today’s job market has changed drastically due to new technologies and the rise of the digital age. Educational institutions have been fairly static in comparison. Out dated educational material as well as teaching methods lead to this disconnect between formal education and the workforce. Creative Process hopes that you will join us in equipping the Greater Brighton digital and creative hub and the wider area with a new generation of Digital Apprentices whilst raising the digital skills bar for your organisation.
